From the artist...

Thank you for visiting my site and expressing an interest in my art! I am so glad that you have found me, and I hope that I may have the honor in creating something very special for you!

Consultation

Please feel free to discuss your expectations, likes/dislikes and ideas that you may have with me for the design and execution of your painting or drawing. There are no limits to your imagination. During our consultation, I can give you a better understanding of the process as it pertains to your painting as well as get a feel for you and the subject. This is where the creative process starts to flow.

Reference Photos

I prefer to work from photographs. I am very detail oriented, and as such, my creative process can be long and drawn out as I focus on the tiniest of details in my work. I cannot stress enough how important it is to start with a good photograph. Photos used must be high resolution with clean and clear details of the subject of the painting. Small or blurry photos do not provide enough quality to render a beautifully detailed work of art. No deposit will be accepted until it is determined that the quality of the photo will meet these standards. If you are in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, I can arrange a photo shoot on location to capture the image that you have in mind for an additional fee. Digital copies of the photo shoot are yours to keep .

Payment and Delivery Information

To reserve a place on the schedule and hold the commission at its current price, a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required, and a contract is completed between us outling the terms and agreed fee. This deposit not only holds us both to a commitment, but allows me to purchase supplies and cover expenses. I will provide regular photo updates of the work in progress. It generally takes me between 2 to 3 weeks (40 to 60 hours), occasionally longer, for each painting once I begin. Payments may be made until the piece is completed, at which time, the balance is due. I retain ownership of the painting until paid in full. I will always retain artistic copyright of the work; however your painting will not be used in print nor online for promotional material without your prior consent.

Prices above DO include shipping/handling in the continental US, but DO NOT include matting nor framing. All paintings are shipped in sturdy reinforced packaging via UPS. Shipping outside the continental US is additional. Professional matting and framing are available for an additional fee, determined by the size of the painting.

I accept online payment via direct invoicing through PayPal. You are not required to have a PayPal account.

Square and cash are the preferred methods of payment on site.

Most importantly, I want you to be COMPLETELY satisfied with your painting. Please hang it, admire it, and after 30 days, if you are not satisfied, I will work with you to try to correct minor problems. If you are still not pleased with the painting, return it to me and I will refund the full balance MINUS the non-refundable 30% deposit.
